The National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Rocky Mountain Section Championship was contested at Pinecrest Golf Course in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on Friday, August 13, 2021, and the only thing hotter than the temperature outside was the championship squad from Canyon Springs Golf Course in Twin Falls, Idaho. Trey Billings, 12, Lucy Haddock, 10, Danika Humphries, 12, Tanli LeMoyne, 13, Carson Lott, 11, Ellyce Simmons, 12, Wyatt Williams, 12, and Troup Wilson, 11, all coached by PGA Head Professional Zach Abels from Canyon Springs GC, teamed up to fire a blistering 6-under-par total of 99 in the 2-person scramble team format. Four pairs of two play 9 holes and the best 3 scores of the team count toward the total. This group of All-Stars has now earned their spot in to the regional competition next month at Gold Mountain Golf Club outside of Seattle.
