HACKETT-BOWEN & WILSON-HOWELL ARE RMSPGA FALL PRO-PRO CHAMPIONS
PGA Professionals Travis Hackett and Tyson Bowen used local knowledge for the Section’s final two-person team event of the year to capture the title at the 2024 RMSPGA Fall Pro-Pro presented by Cobra/Puma Golf. Hackett, the Head Professional at the host venue, Idaho Falls Country Club, and Bowen, the Assistant Professional at neighboring facility Sage Lakes Golf Course in Idaho Falls used rounds of 65-66=131, for a 13-under-par total to put their names on the list of champions. The winning margin was a single stroke over the duo of Jim Empey, PGA Teaching Professional from The Valley Club in Sun Valley, Idaho, and the Section’s Director of Operations, Brett Kleinkopf, PGA. Bowen sealed the deal for the team on the final hole with a fabulous clutch 25-foot putt to save a par and earn the champions’ share.
