NAVARRO SELECTED AS RMSPGA PLAYER DEVELOPMENT AWARD RECIPIENT

PGA Professional Andrew Navarro has been selected by the Rocky Mountain Section PGA as the 2021 recipient of the Player Development Award.  Navarro, a 9-year member of The PGA of America, has been honored as such to recognize his extraordinary contributions and achievements in the area of Player Development. This award considers the Professional’s “Growth of the Game” leadership commitment at Section and National levels and the impact made at his/her own facility.

As a PGA Teaching Professional at The Club at 3 Creek in Jackson, Wyoming, Andrew continues to work tirelessly to promote the game of golf.  Primarily through his exhaustive teaching schedule, Navarro is in a constant state of creating more players at every level.  He developed an advanced junior program which models a 5-day golf school.  It teaches aspiring junior players how to train so they may reach their maximum potential.  In addition, Navarro is also the author of 2-day golf schools at his club offered to the entire membership and a specific program geared just for women.  On a national level as a member of the Jim McLean Golf School teaching staff, he was the lead instructor for multiple Junior Elite programs where kids from around the world attended week-long immersive programs of playing and instruction.

This is the first time Andrew is being recognized as an award winner within the Section.  Navarro will be formally honored as the 2021 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Player Development Award winner next May during the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Annual Meeting.
