Grayson Giboney Lights Out to Capture 2025 RMSPGA Assistant Championship

Every once in a great while something special happens.  “Special” might not even describe what PGA Associate Professional Grayson Giboney did to Snake River Sporting Club in the 2025 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Assistant Professional Championship supported by Srixon | Cleveland Golf, Sterling Cut Glass, Maui Jim, ROLEX & The PGA TOUR.

Snake River Sporting Club is a fabulous Zeus of a golf course.  This visual stunner in Jackson, Wyoming, is every bit as gorgeous as it is lethal.  Those that have the opportunity to play aren’t sure whether to laugh, cry, drink, or take anti-depressants when they finish.   One thing is for sure, your golf bag will be lighter due to the lack of dimpled orbs left in it… Unless you’re Grayson Giboney…

Giboney, an assistant professional at BanBury Golf Course in Eagle, Idaho, fired matching course record rounds of 67 to finish at 10-under-par, a mere 10 shots clear of past champion Garrett Woodin, an assistant professional at Hilands Golf Club in Billings, Montana.  Woodin played great golf with rounds of 71-73=144, an even-par finish, which caught him the second place purse share.  Alone in third place, one shot behind Woodin, was Kelbi Lee, PGA Assistant Professional at Big Sky Resort Golf Course in Big Sky, Montana.  Due to their excellent finish, Woodin and Lee qualified for the 2025 Assistant PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, this November.  Giboney has not yet reached eligibility for this  event in his young career, but look out when he does!

The Rocky Mountain Section PGA wishes to thank the aforementioned host facility, Snake River Sporting Club, host PGA Professionals Patrick Kraemer and Greg Hoyt, Superintendent Steve Miller, the rest of the ever so welcoming staff and members of SRSC for allowing us to enjoy their truly wonderful club.
