A Drive, Chip & Putt local qualifier was contested at Ridgecrest Golf Club in Nampa, Idaho, on a blustery Sunday this first of May and despite the conditions, 24 children have advanced to the next round.

The Girls 7 to 9 years of age division saw Preslie Oden of Wendell, ID, Lennon Christensen of Caldwell, ID, and Cassadee Taylor of Nampa, ID, all advance.
The Boys 7-9 squad featured Carter Macy from Meridian, ID, Jake Johnston from Boise, ID, and Jack McGee from Poulsbo, WA, who all advanced to the next level.
The Girls 10-11 year-olds had Lila Fehringer from Boise, ID, Aurora Wojtkiewicz from Middleton, ID, and McKinlay Klundt from Twin Falls, ID, move on.
The Boys 10-11 bunch found its qualifiers in the names of Cash Pickett from Meridian, ID, Layton Cobos from Mountain Home, ID, and Nathan Drescher from Boise, ID.
In the Girls 12-13 division, Zoe Moore from Meridian, ID, Lucy Valuet from Meridian, ID, and Autumn Ankenman from Caldwell, ID, all advanced to the sub-regional.
The 12-13 year-old boys are represented by Nash Dancer from Meridian, ID, Leo Buhagiar from Pacifica, CA, and Brayden Johnson from Meridian, ID.
The oldest division of Girls to qualify are the 14-15 year-olds and Maggie Urian from Meridian, ID, Sara Andrus from Meridian, ID, and Raegan Larson from Emmett, ID, will represent.
Lastly, the Boys 14-15 division saw Joshua Theng from Boise, ID, Jack Bureau from Boise, ID, and Aiden Meyer from Meridian, ID, all advance.

The next step for all these qualifiers is off to Post Falls, ID, in August.  A huge thank you goes out to the City of Nampa, ID, and Ridgecrest Golf Club, in addition to host PGA Professionals Scott Nicholes and Tim Bensley and the mass of volunteers that helped make this event fly.  Good luck to all!!!
