Bohn & Fleshman Hoist the Hardware at  SRC Spring Pro-Pro

The 2025 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Snake River Chapter Spring Pro-Pro had record attendance on Monday, April 28th, at Ridgecrest Golf Club in Nampa, Idaho.  32 teams of 2 were treated to outstanding playing conditions and the competition could not have been closer.  In the end, PGA Life Member Doug Bohn and his partner, PGA General Manager Brent Fleshman from Jackpot Golf Club in Jackpot, Nevada, prevailed by a single shot after the one-day 36-hole competition.

The format for this team event is a morning better-ball of partners followed by a scramble in the afternoon.  Bohn & Fleshman fired the best round of the morning, a 3-under par, 69, and shared low honors in the afternoon with 2 other teams with 8-under-par, 64.  Their 11-under-par total bested the duo of PGA Head Professional, Mike Hamblin, from Blue Lakes CC in Twin Falls, Idaho, and PGA Head Professional, Zach Abels, from Canyon Springs GC also in Twin Falls, by a single stroke.  Alone in 3rd place with a two-round total of 8-under-par was PGA General Manager Scott McGeachin and PGA Teaching Professional Lance Rieber, both from Warm Springs GC in Boise, Idaho.

The Rocky Mountain Section PGA wishes to thank host PGA Professionals Scott Nicholes and Tony Blasius from the city of Nampa, Idaho, and their staff for wonderful hospitality afforded to all the competitors.  The Section also wishes to thank Bridgestone Golf’s Matt Seare for his sponsorship and attendance at this year’s event.  In addition, appreciation is sent to Sterling Cut Glass, Maui Jim, ROLEX and The PGA TOUR for their loyal sponsorship of this and various other Section and Chapter championships.
