VAN VLEET SIEZES FIRST ROUND LEAD IN 2019 ROCKY MOUNTAIN SECTION PGA PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

John Van Vleet, PGA General Manager at Preston (Idaho) Golf & Country Club fired a brilliant first round score of 5-under-par, 67, on a simply perfect day at Teton Springs Resort & Club in Victor, Idaho.  Van Vleet’s excellence allows him to sleep on a 4-shot lead over PGA Professionals Kelbi Lee from Bozeman, Mont., Fred Sutton from Nampa, Idaho, and Ben Bryson from Eagle, Idaho, who all shot rounds of 1-under-par, 71.  Other than the leader, the field is tightly bunched after the first round of the 2019 Rocky Mountain PGA Professional Championship/Rocky Mountain PGA Section Championship presented by Cadillac, Club Car, and OMEGA.
