MIKE HAMBLIN HONORED WITH 2024 ROCKY MOUNTAIN SECTION PGA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AWARD

PGA Professional Mike Hamblin from Twin Falls, Idaho, has been selected by the Rocky Mountain Section PGA as the 2024 recipient of the Professional Development Award.  Hamblin, in the midst of his 36th campaign as a PGA Professional, has been honored as such to recognize his extraordinary contributions and achievements in the area of Professional Development. This honor is presented to a PGA member for his outstanding contributions to professional education.

As the PGA Head Professional at Blue Lakes Country Club in Twin Falls, Idaho, and a member of the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Hall of Fame, Mike Hamblin is a deeply respected force of nature in our business.  Because of his never ending willingness to participate, advise, and care for other’s success, he is always available to anyone seeking assistance for all things golf.  Mike inspires fellow professionals through his actions, teaching, playing, promotion of events, and his contagious giving attitude.

Not only is Hamblin involved in the day-to-day career development of his staff currently, he has spent a career of service to the Rocky Mountain Section having given his time to countless committees and boards.  He is simply a man who bleeds PGA blue and gold from his very core and we have all been very lucky to have him in our corner.  This honor marks the 13th time Mike has earned an accolade, the most significant of which is the aforementioned Hall of Fame induction in 2022.

Mike Hamblin will be formally recognized as the 2024 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Professional Development Award winner in May during the RMSPGA Annual Meeting, Honors and Awards ceremony.
