Congratulations to the 2023 Yellowstone Jr. Championship Division Winners
Lake Hills Golf Course in Billings, Montana, was yet again the host for this year’s version of the Yellowstone Jr. Championship on July 5-6. Frances Amat from Livingston, MT, was victorious in the Girls division firing rounds of 72-83=155, for a commanding 12-shot victory over Alivia Webinger from Laurel, MT, and 16 shots clear of bronze medalist Kira Connell from Bozeman, MT.
In the younger boys’ division, Royce Taylor from Park City, MT, captured a 3-shot victory with excellent scores of 73-67=140. Colin Jensen from Billings, MT, was the silver medalist and 4 shots clear of bronze medalist Torren Murray.
Emigrant, MT, resident Aubrey Kelley is this year’s overall gold medalist after posting rounds of 67-72=139. Logan Connolly from Billings, MT, finished alone in second place 4 shots behind. Third place honors were split 3 ways with Samuel Norman from Laurel, MT, Landon Olson from Columbus, MT, and Cooper Bourrett from Bozeman, MT, who all shot 2-round totals of 145.
