GARRETT WOODIN PREVAILS IN 2023 NATIONAL CAR RENTAL RMSPGA ASSISTANT CHAMPIONSHIP
Heat and wind provided the challenge in the final round and steady play was the order of the day for Garrett Woodin, PGA Associate Professional from Hilands Golf Club in Billings, Montana. His stellar rounds of 65-69=134, 6-under-par, were more than adequate to take the title, beating defending champion Justin Snelling, PGA Assistant Professional at Boise (Idaho) Ranch Golf Course by 5 shots. This championship is also a qualifier in to the National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship. Snelling and Spencer Smith, PGA Assistant Professional at Shooting Star in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, earned the two available spots in to the event to be played at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, in November.
The 2023 National Car Rental RMSPGA Assistant Professional Championship supported by Srixon | Cleveland Golf | XXIO | Asics, ROLEX, and The PGA TOUR was contested at Sage Lakes Golf Course in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on Thursday, July 13th.
