Two days of terrific weather and prime course conditions treated the contestants at the 2019 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Foundation Yellowstone Junior Championship contested at the venerable Lake Hills Golf Club in Billings, Mont.
The Boys 12-14 age division saw Aubrey Kelly, 13, from Emigrant, Mont., capture the gold while Sam Norman, 12, from Laurel, Mont., earned silver and Ari Nicholas, 14, from Seeley Lake, Mont., earned the bronze spot. Addiley Lloyd, 14, from Bozeman, Mont., took gold honors and Mia Nicholas, 12, (Ari’s sister) was in the silver slot for the Girls 12-14 age group. In the Boys 15-18 division, Nick Pasquarello, 17, from Laurel, Mont., had the tournament’s best two-round total of 149 capturing his gold medal while Ramey Lloyd, 15, from Bozeman, Mont., earned silver and Kade Ewalt, 16, from Laurel, Mont., rounded out the group holding bronze. Billings, Mont., swept the medals in the Girls 15-18 age division. Haylee Adams, 15, captured the gold medal, Cierra Sundheim, 16, took silver, and Hanna Adams, 15, gathered bronze.
