LOREN JEGLUM SELECTED AS ROCKY MOUNTAIN SECTION PGA
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT AWARD RECIPIENT
PGA Professional Loren Jeglum has been selected by the Rocky Mountain Section PGA as the 2025 recipient of the Player Development Award. Jeglum, a 13-year member of The PGA of America, has been honored as such to recognize his extraordinary contributions and achievements in the area of Player Development. This award considers the Professional’s “Growth of the Game” leadership commitment at Section and National levels, and the impact made at his/her own facility.
As the PGA Director of Instruction at TopGolf Boise in Meridian, Idaho, growing the game through introducing people to golf is only one part of the overall picture for Loren on a daily basis. The TopGolf Junior Academy occupies a great deal of time and has been home to more than 500 children in the last few years. These camps emphasize fun and skill development through game-based learning and technology integration. Jeglum is also a proud advocate for PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere). He worked with the local PGA HOPE Ambassador and host professionals to launch the now annual PGA HOPE Pro-Am. This event connects veterans with PGA Professionals, expanding awareness of adaptive golf opportunities and raising funds to sustain future programs. On a broader scope, through partnerships with the PGA of America and TopGolf’s national coaching network, Jeglum actively contributes by sharing program structures, curriculum ideas, and success metrics with other facilities and PGA Members which have inspired similar initiatives across the country.
This is the first time Loren has been recognized as an award winner in the Section. He will be formally honored as the 2025 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Player Development Award winner next May during the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Annual Meeting.
