BRADLEY DEMARTINO IS THE 2023 RMSPGA
ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

PGA Associate Professional Bradley DeMartino, from Bridger Creek Golf Course in Bozeman, Montana, has been named the 2023 Assistant Professional of the Year for the Rocky Mountain Section PGA.  DeMartino has been employed at Bridger Creek the last 8 seasons while working toward full PGA Membership.

DeMartino is very involved in all day-to-day operations at Bridger Creek.  He has been, and is, a crucial part of the staff and a professional who takes on his responsibilities of teaching, tournament operations, academy leadership, and guest care with an absolutely positive attitude and an infectious smile.  Bradley is in charge of summer leagues, creating schedules, using tournament software, and merchandising.  His responsibilities only begin there as he has his hand in everything from teaching to cleaning restrooms.  There isn’t a piece of the Bridger Creek daily grind that Bradley doesn’t want to learn, and he feels he couldn’t have better mentors.

Bradley has administered many events and is heavily involved in all tournaments conducted at the course.  He believes preparation is the key to running smooth functions and strives to make sure every element of any tournament is planned, accounted for, and ready to roll come tee-off time.  He also takes great pride in player development as he has enjoyed his time as an instructor for every age group coming through the Bridger Creek doors.  Bradley is proud to wear many hats as an assistant professional and willingly takes on any and all tasks assigned to him.  He feels the more he does, the more he learns and the more he learns, the more valuable he is to the facility and its customers.

This is DeMartino’s first award within the Section, and it will be formally presented to him at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Rocky Mountain Section PGA next May.
