FLESHMAN, HANSON & MILLS RECOGNIZED AS MERCHANDISERS OF THE YEAR
Brent Fleshman, the PGA General Manager at Jackpot (Nevada) Golf Club, is the 2025 Merchandiser of the Year for public facilities in the RMSPGA. This is Brent’s fifth Merchandiser of the Year award having been honored previously in 2002, 2007, 2010 and 2016. Fleshman was elected to membership in 1996 and 2026 will mark his 21st year at Jackpot Golf Club.
Jacob Hanson, the PGA Director of Golf at The Valley Club in Hailey, Idaho, has been selected as the 2025 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year for private golf course facilities. This is the first time he has been so honored by the RMSPGA. Hanson has been a PGA Member since 2016, having graduated from New Mexico State University’s PGA Golf Management program.
Tate Mills, the PGA Director of Golf at Sun Valley (Idaho) Golf Resort, is the RMSPGA 2025 Merchandiser of the Year for Resort facilities. This is Tate’s third honor as Merchandiser of the Year. He was previously recognized in 2018 and 2023. Earning election to PGA membership in 2015, Mills is an 11-year PGA Professional having spent his entire career in the magnificent Sun Valley area.
The Merchandiser of the Year Awards are presented to individuals who excel in their abilities to purchase, present and sell golf-related products in the most effective and attractive way possible while providing a high level of service to the customer at their respective golf facilities. Fleshman, Hanson, and Mills will receive their awards at the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Annual Meeting and Awards Presentation in May of 2026.
