RMSPGA Members who have won PGA of America National Awards

1997 - Horton Smith Award

Warren "Stoney" Brown, PGA

This award is presented to the individual based on his/her contributions to golf professional continuing education. At the time of the award Mr. Brown was the Head Professional at Crane Creek Country Club in Boise, Idaho. He is currently a teaching professional at The Valley Club in Sun Valley, Idaho.

2005 - Resort Merchandiser of the Year Award

Ron Dunham, PGA

This award is presented to the individual who excels in his/her abilities to purchase, present, and sell golf-related products in the most effective and attractive way possible while providing a high level of service to the customer at a resort golf facility. Mr. Dunham is a Life Member of the PGA of America and has retired to Florida.

2012 - Player Development Award

Mark Holiday, PGA

The Player Development Award is designed to recognize a PGA Professional for extraordinary and exemplary contributions and achievements in the area of player development. This award considers the PGA Professional’s growth of the game leadership commitment at the Section and National levels and the impact made at the facility. Mr. Holiday is the current Director of Golf at Bridger Creek Golf Course in Bozeman, Montana.
