BRYSON REPEATS AS SRCPGA MATCH PLAY CHAMPION

GRAHAM IS THE SENIOR DIVISION CHAMPION

Ben Bryson, PGA Head Professional at BanBury Golf Course in Eagle, Idaho, defeated Boise’s Falcon Crest Golf Club PGA Head Professional Ryan Nielson 3 & 2 in perfect conditions to capture the 2018 Rocky Mountain Section PGA Snake River Chapter Match Play Championship supported by Cutter & Buck, OMEGA & The PGA TOUR.  This repeat victory for Bryson marks the fourth time he has captured the Chapter Championship.  In the Senior Division, John Graham, PGA Head Professional from Sand Creek Golf Course in Idaho Falls won the title beating host PGA Head Professional Mike Hamblin 1 up.  Graham added this senior title to his collection of two other regular division titles in this event.

The season ending Snake River Chapter Match Play Championship was contested at the picturesque 6,454 yard par-72 layout at Blue Lakes Country Club in Twin Falls, Idaho, on October 15th and 16th.

The Rocky Mountain Section and the Snake River Chapter of the PGA would like to thank the members of Blue Lakes Country Club and host PGA Professional Mike Hamblin and his willing and helpful staff who put forth the effort to keep this as one of the premier events in the Snake River Chapter.  Appreciation is also extended to Cutter & Buck sales representative Andy Hollister, PGA, for his support of this Championship. Thanks also to OMEGA and The PGA TOUR for their gracious and continued support.
