Renzi Lee, PGA Head Professional at Lake Hills Golf Club in Billings, Mont., won the 2018 JC Golf Accessories RMSPGA Yellowstone Chapter Championship presented by Bridgestone Golf and supported by Antigua, The PGA TOUR and OMEGA.  Lee won the Championship by carding identical scores of 71 for a two-day total of 142 and a one-shot victory over Jared Strickland, assistant professional at Peter Yegen Jr. Golf Course in Billings. Strickland followed a first round score of 74 with a sterling round of 3-under-par, 69, to finish at 143.  Eddie Kavran, PGA Head Professional at Hilands Golf Club in Billings, Mont., and Chad Dillon, PGA Head Professional at Yellowstone Country Club, also in Billings, finished in a tie for third place at even-par, 144.

Lee is the first recipient of the Brian H. Eekhoff, PGA, Memorial Trophy as Yellowstone Chapter Champion.  Eekhoff, the late head professional at Cottonwood Hills Golf Course in Bozeman, Mont., and past champion (2015) of the event, was killed in a tragic accident in August of this year while on his way to the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Professional Championship.

The Championship was contested at the 6,662 yard, par 72, layout at Lake Hills Golf Club in Bozeman, Mont., on Monday and Tuesday, September 25-26.  Twenty-two Yellowstone Chapter PGA members and associates competed in the Championship.

The Rocky Mountain Section would like to thank Lake Hills Golf Club and its staff for hosting the event and for their hospitality.  Special appreciation goes to PGA Head Professional Renzi Lee for hosting the event. The Chapter thanks Chris Jenkins and JC Golf Accessories for generously supporting the members and associates of the Rocky Mountain Section PGA and the Yellowstone Chapter. Thanks also to Antigua and representative Charley Carlson, The PGA TOUR and OMEGA.
