Brett Kleinkopf, PGA Head Professional at Hillcrest Country Club in Boise, Idaho, and his teammate Travis Hofland, PGA Head Professional at Twin Falls (Idaho) Golf Club have captured the 2018 TaylorMade Rocky Mountain Section PGA Pro-Pro Shootout presented by adidas Golf and supported by The PGA TOUR, OMEGA and Bushnell Golf for the 3rd time.  The duo fired rounds of 63-60-67=190 to finish at 20-under-par, just a single stroke ahead of former champions Adam Martens, PGA General Manager from The Club at SpurWing in Boise, Idaho, and his partner Lance Rieber, PGA Teaching Professional at Warm Springs Golf Course in Boise, Idaho.  Simply perfect conditions at the venerable Pinecrest Golf Course in Idaho Falls, Idaho, allowed the players to go as low as they could take it.

In the Senior Division, Greg Allbright, PGA General Manager at Riverside Golf Course in Pocatello, Idaho, with his partner, PGA Life Member Buster Whitney from Caldwell, Idaho, held on to their first day lead and finished off the field shooting 67-60-68=195 for a 15-under-par performance to hold off the always tough pair of Bob Eames, PGA Director of Golf at Yellowstone Country Club in Billings, Mont., and his longtime partner in this event, Tom Anderson, PGA Head Professional at Laurel (Mont.) Golf Club shooting a three round total of 12-under-par, 198.

The first two rounds of the 54-hole Shootout were played on Monday, May 21st and the formats were four-ball stroke play and scramble. The final round concluded on Tuesday, May 22nd and the format was modified alternate shot.  Fifty 2-person professional teams competed in regular and senior divisions from the Rocky Mountain Section PGA for a purse of $23,000.

The Rocky Mountain Section PGA would like to thank John Johnson, Territory Sales Manager of TaylorMade for the Title sponsorship. Appreciation is also extended to presenting sponsor Jeff Smith from adidas Golf, and supporting sponsors Bushnell Golf representative Charley Carlson, The PGA TOUR and OMEGA for supporting this event. The Rocky Mountain PGA sincerely thanks host PGA Professional Tim Reinke, his hospitable staff and the city of Idaho Falls for hosting the championship.
