Mother Nature could not have been kinder to the 24 two-player professional teams teeing it up in the 2018 RMSPGA Snake River Chapter Facility Championship.  PGA Head Professional, Tad Holloway, with his associate Director of Golf partner Danny Torres, both from TimberStone Golf Course in Caldwell, Idaho, shot rounds of 68 and 64 for a two-round total of 12-under-par, 132, to outlast the host PGA Professional Ryan Nielson and his associate professional Sam Jacobson by 3 shots. Alone in 3rd place at 136 were the defending champion duo from The Club at SpurWing, PGA General Manager Adam Martens and PGA Director of Instruction Brett Nagel out of Meridian, Idaho.  The rest of the field was closely bunched in pursuit of the title and the complete results are available at rockymountainpga.com.

The single day 36-hole Championship was contested Monday, April 9, 2018, at the 6984 yard, par 72 layout at Falcon Crest Golf Club in Kuna, Idaho.  The first round was a better ball of partners and the second round was a modified alternate shot (Chapman) format.  Both players on each two-person team must be employed at the same facility.

The Rocky Mountain Section PGA wishes to thank Ryan Nielson and his staff members from Falcon Crest Golf Club for hosting the event.  A sincere thank you goes out to supporting sponsors David Gubbels from Bridgestone Golf, Bob Hope from Swing Caddie, and Ken Allen, PGA from Mobile Pro Shop.  Appreciation is also extended to OMEGA and The PGA TOUR for their continued support of selected RMSPGA events.
