A major charitable milestone was achieved on August 7, 2017 at The Duke Family Foundation Windfall Classic played at Crane Creek Country Club in Boise, Idaho. Now more than one million dollars has been raised benefiting Idaho charities in the event’s history. This year’s tournament saw 21 five-player teams compete in a variety of formats on a smoky but pleasant day. The Rocky Mountain Section and its professionals that participated all thank the Duke family for their continued generosity to the many organizations this event benefits. HENLEY AND SMALL ARE JUNIOR CHAMPIONS
Bailey Henley of Jerome, Idaho, used rounds of 75 and 76 to fire a two round total of 9-over-par, 151, to win the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Girls’ Junior Championship over defending champion Payton Fehringer of Pocatello, Idaho, by four shots. On the boys’ side, J.R. Small from Bozeman, Mont., shot fine rounds of 68 and 74 to post an even par total of 142 to win the boys’ title by a single stroke over Sam Tidd of Meridian, Idaho.
